Strega has had 5 owners, the first being Swedish Quality Yachts who shipped the yacht from Hallberg Rassy Sweden to the USA in October 1976. The yacht was then sold to Miller Marine Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware USA in July 1988 and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA in 1996 (re-registered in Sweden but remained in USA). She was sold again in April 1996 and remained in Florida until sold again in May 1997 and sailed to Australia in 2000. Strega was purchased by its current owners in February 2003 from Mooloolaba Yacht Sales. Strega is an Australian Registered Ship (No. 855773) with a homeport of Sydney.
