“Solvinge IV,” our Hallberg-Rassy 340, is the fourth Solvinge boat, keeping a name in the family that connects back to my grandfather’s first wooden boat, which was also named “Solveig.” We keep her in the beautiful Långedrag marina, just outside Gothenburg, where we enjoy some of the best West Coast sailing in Sweden. It’s the perfect place for weekend trips or longer summer adventures.
As a dedicated yacht with a modern hull form and powerful sail plan, “Solvinge IV” offers excellent stability and control. The dual wheels provide an unobstructed view of the water and an easy passage to the fold-down bathing platform, which is great for summer swims. Inside, the Hallberg-Rassy quality is apparent throughout, from the functional galley to the comfortable cabins, making every trip a true pleasure. We can recommend sailing on the Swedish West Coast and staying at the Långedrag marina to anyone.
