As the owner of Babette2, hull number 1 of the Hallberg-Rassy 340, I feel a special connection to this boat. Knowing it was the very first of its kind makes every voyage a little more meaningful. From the beginning, she has proven to be exactly what I value most in a sailboat—robust, reliable, and a true pleasure to sail. We spend much of our time sailing around Mågerø, where the waters offer a perfect mix of calm passages and more demanding conditions. The boat handles it all with confidence and grace. Whether it’s a relaxed evening sail or a longer trip along the coast, Babette2 always delivers a sense of security and enjoyment that is hard to match. What stands out most is how solid and well-built she feels. You can sense the craftsmanship in every detail, and it gives you peace of mind when you’re out on the water.
